Installing Safari Plugins on Mac

Steps:

1. Download the Installer:

   • Go to the Safari Pedals download page: https://safaripedals.com/pages/Downloads-Page

   • Download the latest .pkg installer.

   • The installer includes all Safari Pedals plugins.

2. Run the Installer:

   • Open the .pkg file.

   • You can choose to install all plugins or select only the ones you need.

3. Select Plugin Format:

   • VST3: For Cubase, FL Studio, Studio One, Reaper, Ableton.

   • AU: For Logic Pro, GarageBand.

   • AAX: For Pro Tools users.

4. Install Plugins:

   • Click Continue.

   • Enter your Mac password when prompted.

   • The installer will copy the plugins to the default system locations.

5. Default Installation Paths:

   • VST3: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/

   • AU: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/

   • AAX: /Library/Application Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins/

Tips:

• Keep plugins in default paths for proper DAW recognition.

• Restart your DAW after installation to make sure all plugins appear.

• If a plugin doesn’t show, verify the path and format matches your DAW.

Verify Installation:

• Open Finder and navigate to the paths above.

• You should see .vst3, .component, or .aaxplugin files for the installed plugins.

• If they appear, the installation was successful.
