C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\If the folder isn’t listed, click Add… and select it.
Step 3: Rescan Plugins
In the VST preferences window:
Click Clear cache/re-scan
Enable:
Rescan previously failed plugins

Click OK to start a full rescan.
Check the FX browser; Safari Plugins should appear.
Step 4: Clear VST Cache (Windows, VST2 & VST3)
If the plugin still doesn’t appear:
Click Options → Show REAPER resource path in Explorer
Close REAPER
Manually delete the file:
reaper-vstplugins64.iniReopen REAPER. It will rebuild the plugin cache and rescan all VST3 plugins.
Step 5: Verify Installation
Open File Explorer and navigate to:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\Confirm that the plugin files exist (.vst3).
If missing, reinstall Safari Plugins using the Windows installer.
Step 6: Restart Reaper
Close and reopen Reaper to refresh the plugin list.
Search in the FX browser to confirm Safari Plugins are available.
Tips / Troubleshooting
Only VST3 format is required.
Keep only the latest plugin version to avoid conflicts.
If a plugin was previously blocked or failed to load, clearing the cache and rescanning usually resolves it.
Make sure Reaper has permission to access Program Files if installed system-wide.
